Hymer Car announcement
Seen for the first time in right hand drive form at the NEC show in October, they will, as you would expect of the industry's leading manufacturer, demonstrate clever use of space whilst retaining that Hymer air of supreme quality.
The Hymer Car name was first used back in the 1970s but there will be nothing of the 70's styling about this great new addition to the range.
The latest generation Fiat Ducato is the base vehicle for the Hymer Car and it will come in two guises, the 312 and the slightly longer 322. Typically of Hymer these exciting new layouts won’t just follow the trend like many of the high top models in the market today. Additionally, there will be 5 different body colours available, both standard white or Blue and three metallic colours.
The rear fixed bed when made up will be 1.50m wide, just one of its many unique offerings. As always Hymer have given a lot of attention to storage space, this is maximized with the clever use of drawers and overhead cupboards.
Standard specification will include the 6kw Webasto diesel-fired blown-air heating system, the latest swivel cassette toilet (with wheeled cassette), and a two burner gas hob.
UK specification is likely to be enhanced by the addition of the Komfort-line pack which includes passenger airbag, cab air conditioning, electric mirrors, matching drivers and passenger seat fabric and a 97 litre capacity fridge. For the style conscious amongst you, the Sport-line pack will offer alloy wheels, flared wheel arches and special Sport graphics.
Prices have yet to be announced for the UK but will definitely be very competitive, so if the Hymer Car sounds like it might be what you've been waiting for, then let us know and we will be happy to keep you informed and place you on our priority list.
